Torfaen businesses can apply for grants of up to £20,000 to cut energy use and emissions, according to a council announcement published on 23rd October 2026.

Applications are due by Monday 9th November 2026 and will be considered in order of receipt. The council also says additional support is available for larger energy reduction schemes.

One previous recipient, La Creme Patisserie, received £17,500 towards solar panels. Its estimated annual carbon reduction is a forecast rather than a measured result.

Businesses should contact the council's energy management team to confirm eligibility and funding availability before committing expenditure.
