Amelia Trust Farm near Barry is seeking a contractor for solar, batteries and heating upgrades across four buildings.

Current position

The 30th October 2026 notice covers about 75 kWp of solar, 161 kWh of storage, heat pumps and an electric boiler. Ynni Teg is running the procurement on the charity’s behalf.

Why this matters

The scope combines electricity generation, storage, heating and removal of redundant oil equipment. Award is conditional on the grant letter; installation requires a separate written instruction.

Next steps

The notice sets noon on 20th November 2026 for bids and 12th March 2027 for practical completion. Prospective bidders should use the live notice for documents and any amendments. This is procurement, not an operational installation.
