Membership & the Club
What is Net Zero Club?
Net Zero Club connects public-sector project owners with private-sector delivery expertise through conferences, knowledge exchange and practical conversations about decarbonisation. The focus is on helping people understand project needs, explore relevant capabilities and share delivery experience.
Who is the Club for?
The community brings together public-sector project owners, solution providers, institutions and professionals working on net-zero delivery across buildings, housing, energy, transport and infrastructure. Your role and the contribution you want to make determine the most useful route into the Club.
Is joining the Club the same as booking a conference place?
Membership enquiries and event registration serve different purposes. A conference place needs to be arranged through the relevant event’s registration route and confirmed for that event. Joining the community does not automatically reserve a place.
How do I choose the right route?
If you own or influence a public-sector project, start with the public-sector route. If you provide products, services or delivery expertise, explore the private-sector partnership or attendance options. Institutions and individual contributors can contact us about knowledge and programme contributions.

Public-sector participation & VIPP
Who should enquire about public-sector VIPP attendance?
People with a relevant public-sector or qualifying third-sector role who own, influence or support decarbonisation projects should use the public-sector registration route. Tell us about your responsibilities, organisation and project interests so we can assess the fit for the event.
What information should I provide?
Include your current role, organisation and work contact details, together with the assets, estates or projects you are responsible for. Where possible, explain the project stage, anticipated timescale and the delivery barriers or expertise you want to explore.
Does submitting a registration guarantee a place?
A submitted enquiry or registration needs to be reviewed and confirmed for the relevant event. Wait for your confirmation before treating your place as booked. If you have not received an update, contact us with your name and event details.
Can I attend through a private-sector role using the public-sector route?
The public-sector route is assessed against the role in which you are attending. Private-sector solution providers should use the relevant private-sector ticket or partnership route. If you hold more than one role, explain the capacity in which you want to participate.
Conferences & attending
Where can I find dates, venues and programmes?
Visit the Conferences & Events page and follow the link to the event you are interested in. The individual event website provides its dates, venue, programme and registration information. Check your confirmation email for details specific to your booking.
What can I expect from a conference?
Our conferences combine project-focused presentations, moderated discussion and networking between public-sector project owners and private-sector organisations. The programme and format vary by event, so review the event’s current programme before attending.
Can I tell you about access or dietary requirements?
Yes. Share any access or dietary requirements through the event registration process, or contact us before attending. Early notice helps us discuss the arrangements with the venue and explain what can be accommodated.
What if my plans or contact details change?
Contact us with your name, organisation and the event concerned so we can review your registration. For paid bookings, refer to the terms supplied with your booking for cancellation or transfer arrangements.
Private-sector attendance & partnerships
Can private-sector organisations attend?
Yes. Private-sector participation is arranged through the ticket or partnership options for the relevant event. These routes are separate from public-sector VIPP registration. Contact us if you need help identifying the most suitable option.
What do partnership opportunities offer?
Partnership packages offer opportunities to engage with public-sector delegates and contribute relevant expertise to the event. Presentation, exhibition and other inclusions depend on the package and event. Review the current proposal so the scope is clear before booking.
Can we discuss which package fits our organisation?
Yes. Tell us about your capabilities, the project needs you can address and the public-sector audiences you want to engage with. We can then discuss the available options and their relevance to your objectives.
Does participation guarantee introductions, contracts or project appointments?
Conference participation creates opportunities for useful conversations. Specific introductions, commercial outcomes and appointments are not automatic. Project owners make their own decisions about further engagement and any procurement process.
Projects, expertise & content
Can I suggest a project, case study or speaker?
Yes. Contact us with a short outline of the project or topic, the proposed contributor and the practical lessons for the audience. Include the project stage, relevant evidence and permission to share the material. Programme participation is agreed separately.
Can institutions or professional bodies contribute?
Yes. Institutions and professional bodies can discuss sharing research, sector insight, project experience or relevant connections. Start with the contribution you can make and the delivery challenge it helps people understand.
Where can I watch presentations and interviews?
Explore our Knowledge & On Demand content and the Net Zero Club YouTube channel. Availability depends on the recording and its release status. A conference programme listing does not necessarily mean a recording has been published.
How do I report an error or ask another question?
For a content concern, send the page or video link, the relevant statement or timestamp and any supporting evidence. For other enquiries, include your organisation and the subject you want to discuss. Email Lee at lee@net-zero.scot.
